CBS Kicks Off Super Bowl Weekend with 'Bowl Bash'

Although CBS is not airing the Super Bowl this year, it's getting into the spirit of football with "Friday Night Super Bowl Bash."

In an attempt to draw the football game's high numbers, CBS is airing the entertanment special, which will feature performances by Sting and No Doubt, as well as interviews with NFL players and celebrity guests.

CBS Sports commentator Deion Sanders, who hosts the net's "The NFL Today," will conduct "side-line" interviews from New Orleans two days before the big game.

Celebrity guests include Rebecca Romijin-Stamos ("X-Men") and LL Cool J, who will introduce the musical acts.

The special will air live Friday, Feb. 1 at 10 p.m. ET. The XXXVI Super Bowl airs Sunday, Feb. 3 on FOX.
